Job Description

OVERVIEW

NuCO2, the largest, best, and only national provider of beverage grade CO2 to the Foodservice and Hospitality Industry is a growth company. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining customer accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Entry and Validation of Resale Certificates
• Data Entry and Validation of Tax Exemption Certificates
• Manage and maintain resale certificate database (Imports, Daily Data Entry and Scanning).
• Imports and Exports of Resale Certificates
• Research of Certificates for Internal and External Customers
• Assist with business license application and renewal process, as needed
• Assist with monthly filing of sales tax returns
• Assist with multistate sales tax audits
• Special Projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as tax laws and regulations, multistate exemptions rules and other internal documents such as contract package, vendor or business license applications.
• Ability to convey information verbally or in writing to others.
• Ability to understand billing invoicing systems, screens, and codes.
• Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm and key pad speed.
• Ability to manage multi screen system set up process.
• Proficient using Internet, MS Excel, and Outlook.
• Data management; processing and updating experience in a highly transactional environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
• Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Effective oral communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle stress professionally.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• High School Diploma Required
• Associates Degree preferred
• Two years related work experience preferred
• JDE experience preferred
• Vertex Products (Q Series, Sales Tax Returns, ECM, TDM) preferred
