CAD Mechanical Designer


NuCO2, the largest, best, and only national provider of beverage grade CO2 to the Foodservice and Hospitality Industry is a growth company.


This position, located out of our Corporate Stuart location, requires understanding and principal application of safety, efficiency and design reliability skills. This is a technical based position in a distribution focused company that will require interfacing across many company departments and disciplines. This position is for an individual with technical training, skills and experience that will operate daily as a generalist technical company resource: the successful candidate will enjoy working in an environment demanding flexibility in daily activities applying both sound business skills and processes, and solving technical challenges.

Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office. CAD Inventor mandatory; and other software or technology skills are also a PLUS. Technical problem-solving and communication skills required . Work with other team members to document product specifications conforming with relevant  government codes and regulations, and interfacing with manufacturing suppliers will be a key component of this position.

Job Requirements


  • Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent
  • Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Inventor, and CADWorx
  • Experience creating BOM’s and utilizing an ERP software (M2M)
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • 5+ years of Design experience
  • Attention to detail    


  • AutoCAD Inventor proficiency
  • Microsoft Office
  • Mechanical design background
  • 5 – 10 years CAD experience 


  • JD Edwards
  • Pressure Vessel Section VIII Division 1 Code
  • IFC/NFPA 55 Fire Codes
  • ASME Y14.100
  • Technical Writing and Procedures
